Each large octagon shape showcases the bold Kaffe Fassett fabric while they layout of the blocks diagonally flows across the quilt.
One of over 20 unfinished quilts left behind when quilter Susan M. passed away. In her later quilting life she dove deep into bold colors and designs of Kaffe Fassett. Beyond the yardage, the kits and jelly rolls on her shelves, two garbage bags were tucked into the corner, her son not knowing the contents. I bought the bags finding them filled with blocks, and blocks, and blocks! Sorting through I was able to figure out which blocks could make up a quilt top and put them together, finishing them into quilts like this one.
The Loose Ends Project is an organization which matches unfinished projects that are left when a crafter passes away with a volunteer finisher. The finished item is returned to the family.
In the case of the left-behind quilts I've finished, the family did not wish for their return. So, these quilts which were begun by one quilter and finished by another need homes.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these quilts is gifted to the Loose Ends Project.
Parts of the online shop might not be live yet.
Please reach out if you are interested in a quilt or die-cut quilt that's sold out, not letting you add to bag or something you would like to see for sale.
