My Studio.
My happy place.
My studio space is home to two longarm sewing machines, a bunch of smaller machines (ok, the treadle is just for show), a conversation area, and tables for sewing play.
I use digital quilting designs through ProStitcher on a HandiQuilter longarm quilting machine. Its large throat space and 12 foot length accommodate a large range of quilt sizes and digital designs.
I use my second longarm machine for charity projects, hands-on demos and for others to use and learn longarming skills.
Longarm Quilting Services

Longarm quilting isn't just one thing. Let's choose the level of quilting that works for you, your quilt and your budget.
Edge-to-Edge is a term in longarm quilting referring to a single design that is repeated from one edge of the quilt to the other and from top to bottom. An edge-to-edge quilting pattern stitches without regard for design elements of the quilt top, such as blocks, sashing or borders. Edge-to-edge designs range in quilting simplicity that effects the the quilted density and amount of time it takes to stitch out.
Free Motion quilting (vs. computerized quilting) is often the best choice to create an envisioned quilting design. Details in these Klimt, such as the arms and flow of dress are accomplished with hand-guided, free motion quilting.
Custom longarm quilting takes the quilting up a notch. It is often used for heirloom and show quilts. It is usually dense quilting and may combine computerized along with free motion quilting and ruler work. With this choice, the quilting itself is an equal star in your finished quilt. The star treatment (you really want to see the work) you'll be making batting and thread choices that support the goal.
Semi-Custom computerized machine quilting is accomplished by stitching a design or designs into a specific location on your quilt top: blocks, borders, sashing, around applique. This choice for longarm quilting can highlight and enhance the design elements of your quilt top.

When you need help getting your quilt done, let me do the longarm quilting for you. The stitching can be simple or elaborate so let's figure that out together. Start with the quilting request form to take that next step.
