Sleep on it
Colors (and your decisions) change in the daylight. If you're about to grab your ripper, maybe it's best to sleep on it first.

Sleep on it. I NEEDED to just push fabric through my sewing machine. I had a pattern that called for 2 charm packs. I had two. They didn't exactly match in style, tone, colors, but I thought they were good enough. I stitched together one from each pack, randomly. When I got to the end and was pressing, I had a "these don't go together" moment, and actually grabbed my ripper! (If I needed to sew that night, I really DIDN'T need to rip!)
But I stopped. Maybe it will look ok in the sunlight.
I'm glad I didn't rip it out. The work together just fine for what I needed–something cathartic to make.
